How it works
Although we work through and design the program based on your needs, it is important to understand how it all starts. I have put some details about the initial process to help you understand how we work together. I am happy to answer any questions that are not addressed here.
First Contact
The first step is the most important and it starts with you identifying the need. Simply use the contact form on this site to get in touch with me. All I need at this stage, is your name, contact email address and the aspects of your life that you want to address through coaching.
Receive an answer
Based on your details, if the topic is something that I can help with, I will respond to you to arrange a free discovery call. This will help determine that we are both suitable to work together. After this…

- Prepare for the discovery call
- Be ready to change your life
The agreement
A life coaching contract is an agreement between two parties where the client desires to retain the professional services of a life coach.
It also establishes each party’s obligations and responsibilities, ethics and confidentiality. A life coaching agreement sets the tone of the relationship between the life coach and the client.
Discovery Call
Coaching typically consists of a series of one-on-one sessions between you and your life coach and usually last 45 to 60 minutes each. In the first session, we work through your needs, establish the goals, consider our suitability as coach and coachee, before moving forward. We also
- Work through the Wheel of Life
- Work through some questions to identify your strengths, values

A few more things that you might find interesting about coaching and me…
Coaching is a process by which a certified coach asks powerful questions to help the coachee discover what they want to achieve. It is a process that looks at the present and the future rather than looking at the past.
Mentoring is usually provided by a person who has achieved the goal that you are looking to achieve and they usually highlight the steps they took to achieve the goal. It is instructional.
Counselling may offer help or advice related to a specific topic and may also delve into the past situations that may be causing current issues. Depending on the topic, this may require specilist of medically trained professionals.
Training is a set of instructions provided to carry out a certain task. This may not have anything to do with your future and life goals.
Coaching is different in that the coach does not offer advice and does not even have to be an expert in the topic you are working through. The coach asks the powerful questions to help you discover the answers.
Coaching can provide focus and clarity because you are discovering your limiting beliefs and working through them. Once you have your goals clear, this also provides more focus and motivation.
Although each program is designed for your specific needs, the programs usually range between 4 and 12 weeks. This provides sufficient time to also put the plans into action.
As the plans are designed specifically for you and your needs, the cost is closely related to that. It varies due to the level of time and support you need, the length of the program, and your overall needs.
